If you have had the screen replaced and the screen is not original, then this may be the reason why True Tone does not work. In some cases, it may also have something to do with an Accessibility function being activated. Check here: Settings β Accessibility β Display & Text Size.

Google's new-ish Home Hub has an RGB ambient light sensor and a new feature like TrueTone that works fantastically called Ambient EQ / Color Matching. Was bummed that it didn't make it to the Pixel 3's. 4. FreshPrinceOfH. OP β’ 5 yr. ago. BTW as far as I can tell the pixel doesn't have an RGB Ambient light sensor.
The iPhone X ( Roman numeral "X" pronounced "ten" [13]) is a smartphone designed, developed and marketed by Apple. It is part of the 11th generation of the iPhone. Available for pre-order from October 27, 2017, it was released on November 3, 2017. The naming of the iPhone X (skipping the iPhone 9) is to mark the 10th anniversary of the iPhone.
Hopefully it's a bug and not a hardware issue. Coming out of standby / AOD, my 14 Pro Max takes about 10 seconds to respond to ambient light to change the white point. I bought Iphone X. and the true tone is missing 241 1; True Tone I have my Iphone 11. But the true tone option is missing. What can I do? I 939 4;
I was always against true tone because it just looked yellow to me. On my first oled iPhone I just left it on to try it for awhile and my eyes adjusted to it. I now use true tone on every device (iPhone, iPad). I think it's actually better if you give it a fair chance (1 week).
In the Settings app, tap Carrier Cellular Plan Ready to Be Installed. Tap Continue, at the bottom of the screen. Make a call on your iPhone to check its cellular connectivity. If you can't make a call, contact your carrier. If the plan you activated replaces the plan on your physical SIM, remove your physical SIM. Then restart your iPhone.
this happens because you changed the screen of your iphone, im sure this could be a bug cuz i changed the screen and i used a genuine iphone 8+ screen not from third parties and i have the same issue, ALS work great but True Tone is gone. i was reading on ifixit Forums that this can be fix i with a tool that can resotore back the true tone option.
